Frequently Asked Questions

Why did you start riding?
I started riding motorcycles not for the same reasons as men, but through different circumstances. It feels liberating, it provides a sense of adventure and inner peace. Riding exhilarates and sharpens my senses. It releases endorphins helping me to release stress. Connecting to other women riders is a bonus.
What safety gear do you recommend?
I recommend wearing a full-face helmet, a protective jacket with armor, gloves, sturdy pants, and boots. It’s important to prioritize safety while riding.
How do you handle long rides?
I make sure to take regular breaks, stay hydrated, and stretch my legs. If you have a small gas tank like me, long rides can help to take breaks every 120 miles.
Are motorcycles great for everyday commuting?
Yes, motorcycles can be a great option for everyday commuting. They are fuel-efficient, easy to maneuver in traffic, and can save you tons of gas money.
What is your favorite motorcycle?
I currently do not have a favorite. I ride an India Scout which I love so much but I have outgrown it. I am in the process of looking to purchase a motorcycle with bags and the works, including cruise control. I will keep you posted if I find “THE” favorite.
